The No-Fuss Method to Sending Your Holiday Cards

I get it; life is busy. Since having my son, I barely have enough time to sleep and drink coffee while it's still hot. Seriously, what's sleep?

That's why now, more than ever, I want to help make your life as easy as possible. While email may seem like a quick and easy alternative, snail mail cards are more personal than electronic holiday greetings. With this no-fuss method, life will never be too busy to send warm holiday cheer.
Plan ahead
  • Set a budget:
    • Plan for the number of cards you want to send.
    • Think about the type of card and the cost for addressing services and postage.
  • Decide on a design:
    • Consider whether you prefer a traditional card, a photo card, or a completely customized card.
    • View Freebird Paperie's options here.
  • Build your list:
    • Spend the time building a good spreadsheet. It will only help you save time in the long run.
    • Include these columns in your spreadsheet: first and last name or the family name, address 1, address 2, city, state, and zip code.
    • Split personal and professional contacts.
    • Add to your list throughout the year to make next year a breeze.

Picking out the perfect holiday card can be overwhelming with so many options and shopping sites. Choosing a vendor that you know – and knows you – will cut out the time you spend searching for that right design. As a mom, I know your time is valuable. Wouldn’t you rather spend your free minutes playing with your little ones? Invest in someone who allows you to enjoy more precious moments.

Let me take care of stuffing, adding postage, printing the return and mailing addresses on the envelopes, and mailing your holiday cards.

Remember: you'll want to order by the first week in December so the cards are ready to mail before Christmas!

The holidays are busy enough. Place your trust in me to ease the stress of sending holiday cards, while you enjoy a tasty latte, a good book, or your kiddos!

Thankful Mompreneur

Six years ago when I started Freebird Paperie, I thought there was nothing I could love as much as creating high-quality products for all of you.

Then 3 months ago, my husband Zach and I welcomed the cutest baby boy, William James Stotter. It's a constant juggling act – balancing being a new mom, wife, and business owner. At the same time, this little guy fuels the drive for my business. I've found renewed purpose in providing the best future for him. I need to show him anything is possible if he sets his mind to it.

So during November, a month centered around thankfulness, I want to take this time to sincerely thank each and every one of my clients. Without you, I wouldn't be able to pursue this journey – this life – as a mompreneur. Thank you, from all of us.
